Everything we do at La rue des Femmes is based on the concept of giving; we give all the gifts generously donated by our contributors back to the organization’s participants, free of charge. Our main mandate is to give women back their dignity by enabling them to acquire new or second-hand clothing and accessories in good condition free of charge.
As a general rule, and because of our limited storage space, we take only in-season clothing. For exceptions, see List 2 of our essential needs below. Please keep your out-of-season items for future donation!

Bulk collections and donations (five or more bags)
Corporate fund-raising events; school and student initiatives throughout the year; special events. Please contact us to make an appointment, so we can assess together whether your offer meets our real essential needs in terms of quantity and quality. Our limited storage capacity does not allow us to receive large quantities of donations at any one time.
Christmas gift collections
Every year, we are looking for a special Holiday gift to give to the 120 participants (120 identical items or donations of new clothing in sizes ranging from small to XXL) at our three houses.
